Asta Parking

EchoStar+ and H Baffles at Asta Parking helped transform sound control into a design asset, creating a workplace that’s energetic, expressive, and acoustically balanced from the ground level up.

About Asta Parking

Asta Parking’s Fort Lauderdale headquarters is a space that doesn’t whisper — it tells a story. Designed by The End Design Studio, the office draws direct inspiration from parking structures, using bold color, graphic wayfinding, lighting, and materiality to create a visually energetic workplace. We partnered with the design team to ensure the space remains acoustically soft, supporting daily operations, collaboration, and first impressions without sacrificing the exposed, industrial aesthetic.

The Challenge

Exposed ceilings were central to the design concept, allowing the space to feel open, modern, and true to the parking garage narrative. But exposed structure comes with a tradeoff: visible ductwork, concrete surfaces, and a serious increase in reverberation. In high-traffic areas like the reception and open office, noise control quickly became a challenge.

The Solution

We worked closely with The End Design Studio to specify Kirei PET acoustic solutions that could pull double duty—absorbing sound while reinforcing the parking garage concept.

In the reception area, the team selected H Baffles, suspended in a rhythmic pattern that mimics the structural beams of a parking structure. Finished in a quiet grey, the baffles balance the bold blue color palette while improving acoustics in a space where clarity and comfort are critical to making a strong first impression.

Traditional acoustic ceiling tiles were removed from the open office to increase ceiling height, introducing a new acoustic challenge. To counteract the exposed concrete and heavy foot traffic, the designers specified EchoStar+ acoustic clouds, suspended overhead to reduce reverberation while maintaining openness. The modular nature of EchoStar allowed the designers to create connected formations or standalone elements, giving them flexibility to work around ceiling obstructions while visually masking less-than-beautiful infrastructure.

The Result

The completed space is a cohesive blend of brand expression and acoustic performance. Our PET solutions significantly reduce noise levels across the office without interrupting the exposed, industrial look the design team envisioned.

Beyond performance, the acoustic elements are a defining visual feature at Asta Parking, reinforcing wayfinding, supporting the color story, and translating their brand identity into built form.
