About Primacy Financial
Primacy Financial helps people gain clarity by creating alignment with their values and financial goals to effectively create, implement, and manage a long-term financial plan to accomplish visions of the future. When New Leaf Interiors set out to redesign Primacy Financial’s Buffalo Southtowns office, they turned to Kirei to help bring their vision to life. The project involved transforming a 3,500-square-foot second-floor unit into two distinct spaces that balanced professionalism with a welcoming, home-like atmosphere.
The Challenge
Primacy Wealth Management needed an office environment that supported in-person meetings while fostering productivity and client engagement. New Leaf Interiors was tasked with designing a space that reflected Primacy Financial’s ongoing rebranding efforts, integrating the comforts of home with the functionality of a professional workspace. Drawing inspiration from Buffalo’s rich history and culture, the design had to create an inviting, acoustically optimized space that would serve both employees and clients effectively.
The Solution
To achieve the client's vision of a residentially inspired office, Erin Kristine, project design lead at New Leaf Interiors, prioritized designing and implementing custom features, including Zen Panels from Kirei. These panels not only provided critical sound absorption but also served as a visually striking focal point in the office. The embossed style of the panels informed the design choice for the reception desk, bringing in a ridged pattern from the conference room to the front desk.
Zen Panels are made from 51% recycled post-consumer plastics, and every specified panel diverts hundreds of plastic bottles from landfills. This commitment to sustainability aligned perfectly with the client’s values, making our products an ideal choice for the project.

The Result
Strategically placed to optimize acoustics, Zen Panels created an environment suited for staff meetings, client consultations, virtual calls, and even catered events. A thoughtfully curated color palette of neutral tones accented with deep blues complemented the overall design aesthetic. The space was further enriched with a blend of materials—including wood, neutral textured wallcoverings, glass partitions, and silk-screened graphic wallpaper—that paid homage to Buffalo’s architectural heritage.
While early project phases presented challenges with alternative acoustic suppliers, our expertise and dedicated customer support kept the project on track. The decision to specify Kirei products was reinforced by our commitment to exceptional service, ensuring a smooth and successful project completion.
At Kirei, we are proud to play a role in shaping workplaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. The Primacy Financial project exemplifies how thoughtful acoustic design can elevate a space, creating an environment where employees and clients can thrive.
